A New York Construction Accident Lawyer Who Represents Injured Workers Tracking Developments in Construction Accident Law.

I can still remember the morning in 2008 when I woke up in my apartment on East 90th Street in Manhattan to the sound of police sirens followed by helicopters overhead. I went out onto the street and saw that the area around 91st Street and 1st Avenue had been blocked off and that something terrible had happened.

It turned out to be a tragic crane collapse that took the lives of two construction workers.

According to the Manhattan District Attorney, the collapse was due to a faulty repair weld by a Chinese company without the approval of the Buildings Department. Now the crane owner has been indicted for manslaughter.
